Rockwood (and Thriller)
News Thursday,
July 2, 2009
If you're coming here
from YouTube and looking for something Michael Jackson
related, go
here.
But if you're just looking
for some poetry, check out today's new Haiku
Thursday. Drop us a line in the Rockwood
Mailbag to tell us what you think. Write in
today!
Also, there will be no
new strip on Friday. I'm taking the 4th of July weekend
off. See you on Monday!
It's not too late to
order a 2009

Thriller news! Guess
who counts us as one of his "favorites?" Sure
it's obvious why, but it's still cool.
The Wedding
Thriller Dance is now officially over 9 million
hits. Weird, eh?
The latest Thriller
sighting? Well, it appears that ABC shares with
their affiliates everywhere, so that "iCaught" story
also ended up in New Zealand. We're worldwide,
baby!
And here's the semi-master
list of Thriller Dance links:
First, the original Wedding
Thriller Dance.
A local newspaper,
the Oklahoma
Gazette, did a small article.
The Real
Life Wedding issue of People Magazine.
Also, CBS:
The Early Show reporting on the People story.
Older stuff:
Locally, KFOR
Channel 4 did what we thought was the best (and most
accurate) story so far.
Our very first TV appearance
was Good
Morning America.
Later, we were on Good
Morning America, again.
Inside
Edition did a story on us, but it's been pulled
off the web.
We made a brief appearence on ABC's Nightline (go
about 2:03 into the clip).
Another brief appearence happened on the NBC
Nightly News (about 1:25 in).
And last, but definitely not least, there was the
live, nationwide TV performance for the The
Morning Show With Mike And Juliet. Unfortunately,
that show is no longer on the air, so it's not available.
Hmm... maybe I should post my copy. We'll see.
It's also appeared
on numerous other shows, but until I find links
for those you'll just have to take my word for
it. And for those of you in the United Kingdom,
keep watching. It's coming your way, soon.
It is the official
policy of Team Rockwood that if you want to
use any Rockwood comic strips on your web site,
you may. In fact, we encourage it. However, in return,
we do ask that you link back to us. If you're going
to use our strip, it's only fair, don't you think?
