Express yourself!

Have you always wanted to let Team Rockwood know just what you were thinking? Do you wonder why the panels of the strip are laid out horizontally instead of vertically? Or do you have sensitive documents that will bring down the government? In any case, we want to know! Just fill out your name and e-mail address, then let 'er rip! No question or comment is too bizarre for Team Rockwood to take a stab at, and if we can get enough mail coming in, this page will be updated weekly! (Unlike the old mailbag page, which got updated about four times in two years.)

So consider this an experiment in web interactivity. Or, consider it a way to artificially inflate our hit count. Either way, just write in!

I noticed Will Rockwood was not in any of your full color strips. How can u get rid of the character the strip is built on and named after when u present it to the newspapers?

--Matt

Well, Matt, as we've said before, there are more color strips on the way, so Will will most assuredly be popping up in some of them, but who says he needs to be in all of the strips? After all, Milo Bloom didn't appear in a majority of the strips named after him, either

Hi! I was just wonder'in why your promote link does not work. Other than that I would like to say....... THANK GOD YOU GUYS DO THIS STRIP! It's amazingly funny! Only Calvin and Hobbes is your equal.

--Logan Daily

The "Promote" link doesn't work because we've been too lazy to actually make up any banners to put under it. As far as us being equal to Calvin, we hardly think so. Maybe someday, when every mullet-headed redneck in a pickup has a sticker of one of our characters urinating on their logo of choice, we'll be willing to compare ourselves to Calvin, but not before.

"Recycled Water" and Tangy... where have I heard that before... do i get royalties?? :)

--Artimis

Sure! You get 50 percent of all the money we made off the strip on that day! Let's see here... 50 percent of zero is... carry the one... zero! Don't spend it all in one place!

I really like the colored comics, and your response to last week's tragedy was superb. You handled it very well. Thank you.

You're welcome.

You say that Mitch can't turn off the TV in one mailbag. Then in the Who's who, you imply that Mitch can. What gives??

--Geordi NOT LaForge

Heh. Our temptation is to rewrite the Who's Who page ala 1984, and label you as someone who obviously doesn't know what he's talking about. However, the truth is much simpler. We only said that Network 23 doesn't allow such things, we didn't say anything about the other networks, though they're not fond of you turning off the TV, either.

I thought your 9-12-01 strip was very tasteful, as well as the 9-14-01. Being a tv junkie, even with 350 other channels to choose from, daytime and primetime major networks are still my first choice, and I'm glad to have them back. Regarding today and the future, I'm not going to live in fear of what I have no power over. I didn't sell any stocks (not that I have much to sell!), and I didn't change my non-existant travel plans.

--Julia

Glad to hear it, Julia! While we hear at Team Rockwood don't have much reason to change our travel plans (after all, we're travelling nearly 400,000 miles per day) we have held on to our stock to support America. Well, actually, we've held on to our stock because it was a dotcom IPO and right now it's not worth much more than a combo meal at McDonald's. But rest assured, even if it were worth a lot more, we'd still hold onto it!

In the meantime, anyone wanna buy us lunch? Anyone?

Rockwood is great, but how about some animals/animal brutality? Now, I don't mean that 'being mean to animals' stuff, I mean stuff like the other day's PvP. I know that everyone has their own style and that one shouldn't try to guide/rush the artistic genius (I use the term lightly... no offense, I hope, but genius is a slight stretch), but animals appearing in cartoons (particularly violent animals) are something we need more of.

--The Shadow

Hmmm... perhaps you should be watching fewer Fox specials, Shadow. While we admit that a When Animals Attack theme would probably bring in more viewers, those aren't really the kind of viewers we want to be associating with.

However, if we ever do decide to unleash some violent animals, just know that we'll be thinking of you when we do it. Uh... where did you live again?
