Express yourself!

Have you always wanted to let Team Rockwood know just what you were thinking? Do you wonder why the panels of the strip are laid out horizontally instead of vertically? Or do you have sensitive documents that will bring down the government? In any case, we want to know! Just fill out your name and e-mail address, then let 'er rip! No question or comment is too bizarre for Team Rockwood to take a stab at, and if we can get enough mail coming in, this page will be updated weekly! (Unlike the old mailbag page, which got updated about four times in two years.)

So consider this an experiment in web interactivity. Or, consider it a way to artificially inflate our hit count. Either way, just write in!

I have a question? Why do people feel the constant need to swear? Do people think they sound cool or sophisticated or what? Because the opposite effect happens...someone who has to swear every other word makes it obvious that they have a small vocabulary and they use limited brain power.

We're not really sure, Mikki, but we imagine it has something to do with the same gene that makes people think they can win an argument over the internet.

Hey, I absolutely love Rockwood, but was only introduced to it a couple weeks ago. I've read all the archives, but found out that it's been around for ten years! How can I read the older ones since you only have the past two "seasons" up? Any plans to post the older ones as well? I'd like to read the entire collection of Rockwood since its beginning.

Thanks,

Ben

Whew! No plans yet, Ben. There is, of course, the ever-mythical Rockwood CD-ROM, that would contain every Rockwood strip ever, which we keep saying we'll get around to but never do. The problem is that most of those ten years were pre-internet, and therefore never scanned. Think of how much fun it would be to scan five years of daily comic strips and you'll have a little better understanding about why the Rockwood CD-ROM remains so elusive.

Wow! Cool strip! A friend of mine told me about it. Very funny, nice work! I like your Olympic stuff, too. Do you have any Rockwood books out?

Books? No, but could we interest you in a calendar? A book, unfortunately, would be far too expensive to put out on our own, but we can break even on the production costs of a yearly calendar. And yes, we're sure a CD-ROM would be a big profit-to-cost winner...as long as you don't factor in the time it takes to scan endlessly. Ick!

Hey! Loved your Olympic pics. If you can pick up CBC, turn it on Sunday to watch the final of The Brier, the national men's curling championship. The winners, with the women champs, will be going to North Dakota for the world championships in April.

And don't forget to check out the newest, hottest movie on ice - Men With Brooms!

Have a good weekend!

Curling finals and a curling movie? It's just as well that Team Rockwood isn't able to tune in the CBC on a regular basis. We can only handle so much excitement, you know.
