Express yourself!

Have you always wanted to let Team Rockwood know just what you were thinking? Do you wonder why the panels of the strip are laid out horizontally instead of vertically? Or do you have sensitive documents that will bring down the government? In any case, we want to know! Just fill out your name and e-mail address, then let 'er rip! No question or comment is too bizarre for Team Rockwood to take a stab at, and if we can get enough mail coming in, this page will be updated weekly! (Unlike the old mailbag page, which got updated about four times in two years.)

So consider this an experiment in web interactivity. Or, consider it a way to artificially inflate our hit count. Either way, just write in!

cheetos eh!
snail trails eh!
that al vangard what a man

snails here regularly garf our dogs' food overnight; so much so that they, well don't exactly glow in the dark as i'm sure kepler's would, but they are now so pumped and so big they tend to take food whenever the urge strikes them rather than lurking during the wee hours as they once did! but like al V the dogs similarly don't seem to be put off by the trail :)

i'm new to your site so early days but i suspect you may need some form non up-lifted 'critter' there on the station?

My girlfriend's Birthday is coming up and I'd like to know if the Rockwood calendars are still up for sale or if you were just too lazy to take down the page?

--Dave-man

You're in luck, Dave-man, not only is the 2002 Rockwood Calendar still available, it's now available in two different formats! For those of you wanting someone else to do all of the work, the printed version can still be had for $15, deliverable by the hopefully reliable folks in the U.S. Postal Service.

However, those of you willing to pony up the dough for your own materials in exchange for a discount are now in luck! You can download the .pdf file for the 2002 Rockwood Calendar, then print off as many copies as you want for only $5! And get this... if you've never used PayPal before, they pay a $5 bonus just for signing up. That means that some of you can get a copy of the 2002 Rockwood Calendar for free! Hard to beat that, eh?

So, if inferior cartoons can make it to the Sunday comics... why not Rockwood???

<*chant*>we want Rockwood! we want Rockwood!

OK, I'll stop before it gets out of control and we have a riot in our hands ;)

A riot over bad or good comics? C'mon! What kind of world do you think we live in?

I really love your strip for Monday. How true. My impatience, however, is much less. This weeked I bought the graphic novel of the movie, and I KNOW ALL! (I also have the jr. novelization on tape) I won't give any spoilers (unless you email me, begging) but I will say this: xxx xxxxxx/xxxxxx xxxxx xxxx xxxxxxx xxxxx xxxxx xxxxxxxx xxxxxx xxxxx. Xxx xxxx xxxx xxxx xxxxxx xxx xxx xxx. Stupid Lucas.

While Team Rockwood will openly admit to reading certain sites to get information on upcoming movies, we hate, hate, hate spoiler info on upcoming movies. We especially hate it when directors who should know better spoil their own movies in their trailers (in fact, just last week we scratched off a movie from potential viewing because the trailer showed us the entire plot--yes, we're talking to you, J-Lo.)

We're not going to hold this against Elizabeth, since she couldn't have known before, but there's no quicker way to get on our enemy list than by giving away movie info. If you've got a scoop, tell someone who lives for that kind of thing.

I was speaking with a first cousin of yours who lives in Rapid City, SD (that's how I came across Rockwood in the first place). Anyway, your cousin says that Rockwood has been around for 10+ years. I was wondering if you could put some of your very first strips on the website for the sake of nostalgia and to compare your climb as an artist. Sorta like how you can go to garfield.com and see Garfield evolve over 25 years.

--Leif

Well, Leif, the 2002 Rockwood Calendar is actually mostly composed of older strips, so we suggest you take advantage of the new low price to take a look at some of those.

But 25 years? Really? I think we all know what a 25 year old cat looks like, and it ain't Garfield.

Ah, finally geting to see spiderman, I can say one word AWESOME! Spiderman is a film for geeks and those other people. Can't wait for SWE2AotC.

--Paul

We thought Spidey was really good, too, and unlike some, we didn't have any problem at all with organic web shooters. As for SWE2AotC, the early buzz is good, but wasn't it good last time?

To be fair, we never thought The Phantom Menace was that bad. Rather, we think it was Lucas' Kobayashi Maru. It couldn't have possibly been successful enough to live up to its hype. We're thinking this one should turn out better.
