Express yourself!
Have you always wanted to let Team Rockwood know just what you were thinking? Do you wonder why the panels of the strip are laid out horizontally instead of vertically? Or do you have sensitive documents that will bring down the government? In any case, we want to know! Just fill out your name and e-mail address, then let 'er rip! No question or comment is too bizarre for Team Rockwood to take a stab at, and if we can get enough mail coming in, this page will be updated weekly! (Unlike the old mailbag page, which got updated about four times in two years.)
So consider this an experiment in web interactivity. Or, consider it a way to artificially inflate our hit count. Either way, just write in!

I'm disappointed!!! Rockwood has been my one bright spot in ontimeness. I've had to deal with AtAT's slackish ways often, along with many other favorites (including thinksecret and mosr). But every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday I can be sure of getting my laughs from Will and Company. Alas!, this week has been a major trial, with almost no one publishing, including the amazingly punctual Rockwood. What has the world come to!?!

Yes, the responses were not pleasant for Team Rockwood after we returned from our extended Texas victory dance and turned in late cartoons. We find particular irony in noting that the "slacking" MacOSRumors once hosted Rockwood before the dot com crunch forced us to go it alone. But fear not, Kyle, we are still here, and have no plans to devolve into "occasional" updates like MOSR does now.

OK - that's it! You're not - I repeat: NOT - allowed to take any more vacation! Period. End of story. Fin.

We will admit we probably could have planned ahead better, since we were late on pretty much everything last week, however we think no vacations ever is pretty extreme. We really don't go that often. It's not like we're the Germans.

This is just to counter all those nasty letters you must be getting from impatient Rockwood readers. Take your time. Just as long as the strips, the mail and the haikus get updated eventually, say, by the end of the weekend, it'll all be fine.

Thanks, Elizabeth! Okay everyone, since Elizabeth said we were okay to take some time off, we'll see you sometime in...oh... let's say December.
Kidding! We're kidding! Breathe again...

In regards to your 10/9 strip....you really quack me up. It was a joke grenade of a strip and the bang was worth it. It was so punny, er funny, it hurt.

Incidentally, we can no longer take that joke grenade of a strip into airports. We don't want to get arrested.

been a reader for a while and always love the strip. first, i want to thank you profusely for this week's refusing the tempting pop-up-ads deal; while you could've made money and probably kept us coming to the site you definitely kept your humanity by turning down the offer. and, second, i have to point out that this is yet another indicator of how the traditionalist brIan is clearly superior- any brYan would be low-down dirty enough to do such a thing as instill pop-up ads. i'm almost inspired to buy a calendar- well, maybe for 2003.

Brian, while we don't want to inspire any "i" versus "y" fights, we do want to point out that everyone should be inspired to buy the upcoming 2003 Rockwood Calendar, online soon! And make no mistake, Team Rockwood rejected the pop-up ad offer only because we hate pop-up ads, not because we have something against selling out. We'd sell out in a second!

For some odd reason, I actually looked at the very top of your page and saw the advertisement for the 2002 calendar. Considering it is now almost November, that leaves only 2 months left. I won't buy a 2002 calendar, but I will buy a 2003 calendar. So have you got one for sale yet?
BTW, how long does it take for you to draw a typical cartoon? I have looked up some other cartoonists that have daily deadlines, and they average maybe 6 a day. But then again, they have to plan months in advance.
OH, another question...who are your favorite comics? The Fat Cat or maybe the pyscho Tiger and ADHD 6-year-old?

The calendar's not here yet, Leif, but keep checking...we want your money!
C&H is good, but gone. Same with Peanuts. Time to move on, people. Current strips we like are Sherman's Lagoon, Bizarro, and Non-Sequitur. There are more, but lists are boring.
As for averaging six comics a day, ye gods! It takes about two hours to complete a Rockwood strip. What kind of low-quality pap could be mass-produced to the tune of six comics a day?
