Express yourself!

Have you always wanted to let Team Rockwood know just what you were thinking? Do you wonder why the panels of the strip are laid out horizontally instead of vertically? Or do you have sensitive documents that will bring down the government? In any case, we want to know! Just fill out your name and e-mail address, then let 'er rip! No question or comment is too bizarre for Team Rockwood to take a stab at, and if we can get enough mail coming in, this page will be updated weekly! (Unlike the old mailbag page, which got updated about four times in two years.)

So consider this an experiment in web interactivity. Or, consider it a way to artificially inflate our hit count. Either way, just write in!

You're welcome. Every once in a while we like to pull out a five-strip week just to keep everyone on their toes. Usually we wait until some big event comes along. One can only wonder what the next big event might be.

I am MR UBAHA, a citizen of sierra leone.

I got your contact from a reliable source here in Accra Ghana, who told me that i should have confidence in transacting any business with you that you are a very trust whorthy human bean but meanwhile, I did not disclose to him the nature of this transaction. My father MR. DANIEL UBAHA Was a former director of sierra loene MINING CORPORATION under the administration of the president TEJAN KABBAH in sierra Leon. He was accused by the government of financing the (RUF) rebels, For this reason he was subsequently arrested and detained in the military camp, Where he finally died, and as the first son in the family, I DISCOVERED SOME VALUABLE DOCUMENTS IN MY FATHER'S SECRET CHAMBER proving that he deposited the sum of (US$58,000,000) FIFTH-EIGHT MILLION US DOLLARS with the GLOBAL INSURANCE & SECURITY COMPANY in Accra- Ghana for safekeeping. And an agreement was made between my father and the company. Due to this finding, I decided to came down to Ghana to confirm and also take refuge here in Ghana. My confirmation was positive from the insurance & security company. PLEASE what i want from you now is to assist me remove this fund out of the insurance & security company and invest it in any lucrative business for me in you're country or anywhere in overseas. Please NOTE: that the insurance & security company does not know the true content of the consignment becauseit is sealed and fear of betrayer and was deposited as diamond. I have decided to pay away with 15% percent of the total fund to you if you assisted me in claiming this consignment out of the security company and another 5% percent will be map out for any expenses incurred during this transaction. If you are willing to assist me, please call me on this tel: 00233-xx-xxxxxx or you reply to this EMAIL ADDRESS. EXPECTING TO HEAR FROM YOU. GOD BLESS YOU AND YOU'RE FAMILY AS YOU HELP ME. THANKS YOURS FAITHFULLY

Good news, Mr. Ubaha! By using Team Rockwood's many Sierra Leone-based commandos, we were able to infiltrate Global Insurance & Security Company and recover 57 of your captive 58 million dollars. But due to the secret nature of our methods, we unfortunately had to leave $1 million in the vault to maintain our cover. However, this can be easily obtained. We've taken 10 percent of the original amount (we didn't feel right taking 15 percent), but now we'll need an extra $20,000 to get the remaining million dollars. If you could just forward that amount to our PayPal account, we'll cut you a check for the full amount of your policy.

Consider yourself lucky, Mr. Ubaha. There are a lot of other people out there who aren't as friendly as us.

How long in advance do you usually make your strips? Do you have months ahead prepared or is it a last minute midnight type of thing for the next day? Inquiring minds want to know.

--?

Months ahead? Heavens no! There's nothing we plan months ahead of time! Well, almost nothing, anyway. The artwork is almost always done the night before, but the writing can be done anytime from seconds before the drawing starts to weeks in advance. But it's more often the former than the latter.

I LOVE IT!!!! The Microsquish angle did not even occur to me. Well done.

--Joe Laidlaw

Microsoft doesn't want such thoughts to occur to you, Joe! In fact, they only let us continue to live because the powers that be think that if it looks like they have a sense of humor about the whole thing, you wouldn't even conceive of their evil empire. But make no mistake, the pods are coming for you, too!

Hi Brian,

Not to burst our collective Mac bubble, but MSN is coming to the Mac next year. See here and here.

Pretty scary, huh?

BTW, Rockwood is very cool!

Hmm... having converted half your crew to MSN butterflies... how are you going to explain this next week when everyone is back to normal? Mitch is going to wake up and it was all a bad dream... I think that's been done already... at least twice... Dallas and Bob Newhart... Three times is stretching it a bit... don't you think? --James

Hmm... do you ask everyone this after their Halloween specials?

You're close, Graham, but you need to check your spelling. Team Rockwood's days of mass graves are long behind us. Today, we practice a subtle form of psychological torture to get the answers we seek. Don't cross us, Graham. We don't want to have to try this on you.
