I think the designers on Trading Spaces would go gaga over Skip's potential decorating budget! I can just see Frank Bielec crafting something with genuine 18K gold-leaf! And instead of moss walls, Genevieve would go for orchid walls.

Eh? What language is that you're speaking, James? We don't know the least thing about decorating. Team Rockwood's idea of style is a room full of movie posters. We'll just have to assume you know what you're talking about, because we don't.

I don't hate math. Other members of my class, however, do seem to freak every time the teacher brings up how math relates to real life... something Engineers' Week seems to do.
Hey, can you put a (easy) proof into the Engineers Week strips? Then I might be able to use it to get some extra credit.

Oh, Elizabeth. We're not here to do your homework! In fact, if anything, you should be submitting a proof to us! And it would be violating the spirit of Engineers Week to make it easy. After all, we don't want liberal arts majors solving these problems, do we?

Must buy engineer coffee mug! But, what does the lawyer say? Cafepress should really use quicktime VR so we can actually see what it says. That's all I'm saying.
Also, I can't wait for engineers week. Maybe I'll be able to make sense by then.

Greg, the lawyer says "Hot coffee is a potential liability, and as such, I advise my clients to ask for theirs to be lukewarm or tepid or blah blah blah..."
Hopefully the lawyers will be able to make sense of that.

"Thanks for taking time out of your busy day to send Team Rockwood a message. Tune back in this weekend to see if your letter made it onto our Mailbag page!"
Hmmm... I guess you used to update the mailbag on Saturdays huh?
--Brian Layman

Excellent deductive reasoning, Brian! We came to our senses once we realized that Saturday Mailbags leave no weekend to play with. By editing on Monday nights instead all we miss out on is Joe Millionaire. Except for tonight, of course. We had to see if he picked Zora or not!

I notice Skip is always suspiciously absent on Valentine's day. Does he have some romantic interest on the side that he keeps away from everyone? Perhaps a starlet that he prefers to keep out of the papers? With that grin of his, it's got to be something special! Give us a hint...c'mon.

Funny you should mention that, Mark. We think that this strip from five years ago should answer all of your questions.

Hi master creator! Last year I typed my wife's name Dana into google search images and discovered that either you have been spying on us or what a coincidence... she looks and acts like Dana Lopez and now after the heads up on the coast to coast show (formerly Art Bell which we are big listeners to) we really feel that you have made us or see us. I (Al) do watch TV and we have some talks about no tv for a while.... So and her brother acts and looks like Skip the rich guy. He has been in the finance biz for years so it is rather freaky...We love it and look forward to more coincidences unless you are related. Is this my father-in-law???? Great stuff. Bye!!!!!!!!!!
--Al & Dana Smith

You can rest easy, Al. We're neither your father-in-law nor watching you. In fact, the simplest explanation for all of these coincidences is...
Hey! Al! You're not planning on wearing that suit when you take my daughter out tonight, are you? Geez, man, show some class! Try wearing those cufflinks I gave you. They're over there, near the plant!

Too true..... Why aren't you in syndication? Are you one of the coolest people around who won't be owned by a corporate god, or are the corporate gods scared of your absolute insight????? I'm glad that Coast to Coast brought your strip to my attention. Thank you.

"Won't be owned?" Heck, no, Dawn! We're just waiting for our corporate savior to cruise in and throw buckets of money at us! Given the chance, we'd sell out faster than J-Lo gets a new boyfriend. So, please! Someone syndicate us! We beg you!!

How much coffee would an engineer drink out of an offical Rockwood engineer mug...
None.. they'd fill it with BEER or RUM!
Drink rum, drink rum, drink rum, drink rum and come along with us...
--Artimis
|
|
|
 |
|
That's fine, Artimis. Those high-quality Rockwood mugs will hold any beverage you so choose. So order away!

Think, this time last year the Winter Olympics were going on. Yikes. And YAY! Engineers' Week! I am an aspiring Engineer...yeah....
I want some coffee.

That's all well and good, TRM, but what are you going to put that coffee in? If only there was a container worthy of an engineer that could hold it!

Are the AtAT guys + baby hiding on the station again? I need my Apple gossip and MacRumors just doesn't have the wit or the Buffy references. Help!
--Simon Lepik
|
|
|
 |
|
Simon, we're just as baffled as you are. We see no sign of Jack, Katie, or Anya here at the station, but AtAT's lack of updates would seem to indicate that they're not home. Perhaps they're touring the prisons of America, laughing at the inmates. Who knows? We just think if they don't show up soon, we might have to start watching our milk cartons.
