Express yourself!
Have you always wanted to let Team Rockwood know just what you were thinking? Do you wonder why the panels of the strip are laid out horizontally instead of vertically? Or do you have sensitive documents that will bring down the government? In any case, we want to know! Just fill out your name and e-mail address, then let 'er rip! No question or comment is too bizarre for Team Rockwood to take a stab at, and if we can get enough mail coming in, this page will be updated weekly! (Unlike the old mailbag page, which got updated about four times in two years.)
So consider this an experiment in web interactivity. Or, consider it a way to artificially inflate our hit count. Either way, just write in!

But I'm *not* kidding. If they're going to waste my money on this ridiculous recall, I'm going to waste their time by voting for people who live in space.

Excellent, Holly! And may we suggest that you show your intentions to the world by wearing your choice on a lovely Skip for Governor t-shirt (or a cap...they're on sale!)? Maybe you can convert others to your enlightened ways!

Skip,
As I'd like you to win this race for governor, I wanted to prep you for the "mud-slinging" done by some of the other political candidates. I'm sure your conversation from Friday, April 27, 2001 will eventually come up. Typically, forced labor isn't popular in the media (ask Kathy Lee!). Any comments?

Skip responds:
"Well, Dude, the real problem isn't that the media doesn't love forced labor (just ask their interns), it's that they don't like Kathy Lee. As such, I'm not particularly worried. My voice isn't anywhere near as shrill, and I won't obsessively talk about my kids for hours. Besides, my first act as governor will be to force Gray Davis to dig ditches, and isn't that the kind of forced labor you'd really like to see?"
Hope that helps, Mark.

Yes, your prediction of long ago nears fruition. Bootylicious has made it into the Oxford dictionary. They claim "words are only included if they are well-known and have proven they can pass the test of time. "
And we heard it here first.

Yes, Greg, we had lots of doubters back when we made that statement, but we just don't think they were ready for our jelly. Now that the British have backed us up, it seems like it should have been so obvious. The only question now is what current prediction do we have that's most likely to come true in two years.

Hey! Reloaded wasn't THAT bad...it was merely a set-up for an AWESOME MOVIE!!!
Maybe.

We hope you're right, TRM. Really. We also hope that Episode III isn't disappointing, and we're hoping that wishing makes it so.
But the third installment of both trilogies have a lot of questions to answer. What turns Anakin evil? Now that the previously virtual Agent Smith has a physical body (Meatsmith?) will he become good? And, of course, the biggie: will either Keanu or Hayden learn how to act?

What's up with the Friday 8/15/03 strip? In the archive, it's the same as the Monday 8/18/03 strip! At least the ALT caption is different.

Egad! Thanks for catching that, Claude. Apparently either Bustamante or Schwarzenegger is trying to sabotage Skip's campaign by hacking that page. Or, maybe we just weren't paying attention.
Let's go with the first one.

Hey, I know at least one of those nifty little Rockwood calendars will be gracing the lovely walls of the As the Apple Turns compound! In one of their recent episodes, they mentioned in passing, "Is August too late to buy a new calendar? We've been kinda busy." So I emailed Jack Miller and let him know that you guys were still trying to get rid of some of your 2003 calendars. He replied and said "Yeah, somebody actually bought us one-- it showed up yesterday. :-D"

That's right, Ryan, there are some generous people out there who know just the kind of thing that makes a perfect gift, even in late August. If you're feeling so generous, you could do the same. There are still two available, and we're sure Jack could use more than one!
