Express yourself!

Have you always wanted to let Team Rockwood know just what you were thinking? Do you wonder why the panels of the strip are laid out horizontally instead of vertically? Or do you have sensitive documents that will bring down the government? In any case, we want to know! Just fill out your name and e-mail address, then let 'er rip! No question or comment is too bizarre for Team Rockwood to take a stab at, and if we can get enough mail coming in, this page will be updated weekly! (Unlike the old mailbag page, which got updated about four times in two years.)

So consider this an experiment in web interactivity. Or, consider it a way to artificially inflate our hit count. Either way, just write in!

Tampa's QB? Why Johnson? If I were him, I would have Brett Favre, or something...Brad isn't exactly the world's greatest QB, you know...

And furthermore, what RB do the Bucs have? Alstott? Pittman? I don't think so. I don't Mitch is picking very wisely. Our team is good, but talent may not be the best choice out there.

Don't be too hard on Mitch, TRM. You can never get everyone you want in a fantasy football league, so sometimes you have to settle for average players. That said, Brad Johnson isn't exactly a chump. He threw for over 300 yards last week and he did win some games way back in January. And the season's still young. You never know what unexpected things can happen with players that weren't high up on everyone's draft list.

Hello Brian-

I look forward to each new Rockwood, but since I switched to Safari, I can't get the mouse-over text to appear. Is there a setting I need to know about? I can't find anything in the preferences dialog that applies. And god knows I don't want to have to go back to using IE...

Thank you,

--Dean R.

Sorry, Dean. Although we love, love, luuuvvvvv Safari, mouse-over texting is one thing it doesn't do. If your connection is slow enough, you could actually stop the page from loading and just read the ALT tag before the new cartoon loads (which is the reason we started putting that extra tag there in the first place), or you can always dig through the code to read it, but barring either of those, you'll have to crack out IE to see the mystery joke.

Do pirates still exist? What about the Carribean ones, like Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom?

Before the summer began, we actually heard people say that they thought said pirate movie would bomb. In retrospect, it should have been obvious that it's young male star would draw teenage girls (he's dreamy), it's older male star would draw the 30-something, 21 Jump Street-loving women, and that men would be drawn to the opportunity of calling someone a saucy wench without being slapped. Yes, love him or hate him, there's a reason that Jerry Bruckheimer is richer than all of us put together.
