Express yourself!

Have you always wanted to let Team Rockwood know just what you were thinking? Do you wonder why the panels of the strip are laid out horizontally instead of vertically? Or do you have sensitive documents that will bring down the government? In any case, we want to know! Just fill out your name and e-mail address, then let 'er rip! No question or comment is too bizarre for Team Rockwood to take a stab at, and if we can get enough mail coming in, this page will be updated weekly! (Unlike the old mailbag page, which got updated about four times in two years.)

So consider this an experiment in web interactivity. Or, consider it a way to artificially inflate our hit count. Either way, just write in!

September 13, 2005,

Hey Brian,

Have you heard of String theory? If not check out Brian Greene's "The Elegant Universe". There is also an episode of Nova, hosted by Brian Greene based on the same book. It's a whole new way of understanding the binding and motivating forces of the universe that expands on Einstein's theory of relativity. I'm curious how the Crew of Rockwood would react to the new theory. Have a great day.

With its reliance on eleven dimensions and theoretical math, not to mention its general unprovability, we've got to admit we think string theory sounds a lot like a 21st century version of epicycles. But we will also grant that Greene probably knows a lot more about the subject than us, so we'll give him a little bit of leeway to prove his theory. However, it had better be more detailed than this.

September 13, 2005,

My roadtrip was way cooler than yours:

Here to here to here.

Well, it certainly was longer, and temperature-wise, it was almost assuredly cooler. But still, the world's largest ball of twine! That's hard to beat.

Real life imitates Rockwood or vice versa.

--DH

Wow. We hadn't heard of that when we wrote the strip, but apparently it's effective. We do, however, think it's a toss-up between Barry Manilow and Hanson for which one we'd want to stop first.

September 15, 2005,

I am a big fan of your web comic but I have to lodge a complant about Wednesday's comic... I can't get that song out of my head. Aaaaaggg....

Perhaps you'd prefer "MmmBop," Robert? Count your blessings.

September 19, 2005,

Hmm...rehashing old jokes? Monday's strip is very similar to my Rockwood 2005 Calendar. Though, "Talk like a pirate day" does seem to have a treasure-trove (pun-intended) of unlimitless jokes.

--Leif

Arrrr...the joke be in a similar vein, bucko, but 'tain't the same joke.

Aren't pirates the coolest? Ya know, they even got tutorials to help the unintiated. And speaking of pirates, the sequels to Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl are in production as we speak. Bring on the swash-buckling adventures mate, arrrg!

--Mikki
