December 13, 2006,

So in wed strip... Mitch is wrapping an empty box? That second panel sure looked like there wasn't much if anything in there. I wonder who its for?

--Rookeealding

We see an unlabeled box, but not an empty one, Rookee. As for who it's for, only Mitch knows. We don't pry.

December 13, 2006,

I used to be a fan in Texas and before that, a fan in Michigan. You have another Cowboy "Non-supporter" (scroll to fourth letter) here. Having to live in Dallas for a number of years didn't make it any better!! Good choice with the Vikes, although the Lions still have a place in my heart!

--Fan in Wisconsin

Wow. Anyone who actually admits to being a Lions fan really is a true fan. No one can say that Fan In Wisconsin is a bandwagon jumper!

December 13, 2006,

Hey! Not fair! I could be considered Mr. Casual Viewer (scroll to third letter) and I wrote in once before... a couple of... er... years ago!

I think.

Isn't that good enough?

--Scott Crick

Well, it wasn't good enough until this week, Scott. But now that you've written in, you're completely forgiven. Even applauded! Hopefully we won't have to wait around for two more years to hear from you again.

Hi, Now that your married, I expect your wife to keep you focussed so that the Rockwood Calendar will come out on time.

--Stan Banks

Ha ha ha ha ha ha! Sorry, Stan, but while the newest member of Team Rockwood is indeed a wonderful influence, there are limits to what even she can get Brian to do. Get the calendars out on time? Ha ha ha ha ha!

Merry Christmas, o' pirate artist!

my 2nd favorite cartoonist, occasionaly makes the Oklahoman.

1st favorite, animated....

--katie

We have several favorites, Katie, but instead of pointing them out, we're instead going to point out that we're not the only cartoonist from Oklahoma. And while we don't think Todd The Dinosaur is ever going to be huge, it's certainly more fun than most things on the comics page.

"Santalicious?" That's not related to "bootylicious" by any chance? Or is it?

--James

Unfortunately for the listener, it's unrelated, James. While Bootylicious was just flat-out cool, "Santalicious" is more a take-off of Fergie's "Fergalicious," which is even stupider than her previous hit, London Bridge, which is in turn stupider than My Humps, her last hit with the Black Eyed Peas. If Fergie's songs get any worse, they'll soon degenerate into monosyllabic shrieking, and we all know what that would sound like.

December 15, 2006,

Well, there is that one day where they show nothing but A Christmas Story over and over. But by far the worst Christmas plot is the Christmas-every day a la ground hogs day plot....they might as well be showing the same special all day with that one. (oh and nice Hitchhicker's Guide to the Galaxy reference. don't know if you know it's one or not however, supposily its a random number.)

--rookeealding

Well, our intention wasn't that of an HG2G reference, Rookee. Rather, the shows we listed totalled four hours, which would mean that set would run six times per day, or 42 times per week. But who knows? Maybe watching all of those shows is the meaning of life!

December 18, 2006,

I think some of your "cartoons" are ludicrous! My God, with all the sickos out there, you only give them one more idea. Shame on you. If it's not fun, only sick, trash it!

--Anonymous

Heh. Apparently, someone thinks we would actually make up soaking codfish in lye just to get people to try it. We're not sociopaths, Anonymous, we're just reporting on the actual existence of lutefisk. Don't blame us, blame the Swedes!
