January 17, 2007,

Sorry to bring this up again, but I never realized that Lutefisk had such a root in the comic industry. (Click here or here.)

I wouldn't have been surprised if that word had never before graced the cartoon/comic industry. Shows what I know...

Well, #3, while we can't say that we were aware of a burgeoning lutefisk cartoon market, we also can't say that we're surprised by anything we ever find on the internet. There are plenty of things as stupid as lutefisk, and some things even stupider. Like this (caution: audio!), for example.

January 22, 2007,

Brian,

What happened with your quest to get a local station to broadcast in HDTV ? I notice it's not on the site anymore. Did you defeat the evil empire? Or is it round 2? Just curious.

We decided to spend more time trying to sell the new 2007 Rockwood Calendar, Jane.

Okay, that plug was shameless, but really, our efforts to shame Hearst-Argyle into providing their HDTV service to the masses are proving to be fruitless, as Hearst-Argyle knows no shame. Unfortunately, we now think that it will probably take two years, when the digital TV deadline comes about, for Hearst-Argyle to cave in (at which point they'll have to do so or face the downside of losing ad revenue).

Team Rockwood has done its part, however. For the last furniture item we purchased, we didn't even look at furniture stores that sponsor KOCO and their bogus statements. Take that, Mathis Brothers weasels!
