April 17, 2007,

My buddy's wife-to-be saw your famous and AWESOME wedding video. Now she wants him to do the same thing... Help. Did you write down the moves? What do I do here? Thanks Mr. Lundmark.

--Rich Birdsall

What do you do? We recommend a lot of prayer, Rich. HA! The Lundmark wedding party learned it because Brian bought a DVD full of Michael Jackson videos, then used a video editing program to slow "Thriller" down enough that he could keep up with it. Then he taught it to 12 other people. What do you do? Get to work, Rich! Time's a wastin'!

April 17, 2007,

Kudos for the tribute to TMBG - brought back so many memories! I can even still remember all the tunes to the songs too, shocker. Thanks for a laugh! BTW - I'm Jim's daughter, and like he said, I enjoyed the calendar (so much that I might have to buy one for my own place - I mean, at $10, how can I pass 'em up right?)

--Victoria Rockwood

How could anyone pass up the great deal that is the 2007 Rockwood Calendar, Victoria? We don't know, but given the fact that we haven't sold one to everyone on the planet, obviously there are people out there who have the ability to pass them up. Oh well. Their loss!

I was thinking, your group should do commercials. An entire wedding party doing the Thriller to sell iPods or some other device would be a funny commercial. Has that come up yet?

Not yet, Rookee, but hey... if William Hung can have a movie, surely we could get a commercial. Madison Avenue, are you listening?

April 22, 2007,

Hey, just watched the Thriller Wedding video - what a hoot! It was fantastic. The daily newspaper here in Hobart directed my attention to it, the word is spreading. wacko.

Just when you think you've taken it all in, new weirder things happen. Had you told us here at Team Rockwood that in a few months time the Lundmark wedding would be highlighted on the other side of the world we would have thought you were nuts. Shows what we know.

Thank you for the inspiration!

We're glad we were able to help out with your request (scroll to second letter), Katie. It looks like you had a good time!

April 30, 2007,

Hi! I actually got to your strip via the video of your thriller wedding on youtube. Was that your wedding? That was really great though. But is stuck me that you might be folks willing to help out with and spread www.thrilltheworld.com. (From the site: Thrill The World is a worldwide Guinness Record attempt for the largest simultaneous dance of Michael Jackson's Thriller. )

I just joined up for it myself yesterday actually. :P Saw them dancing the thriller and plugging the thrill the world event at international dance day yesterday. So I was trying to find the video to practice with and found yours instead. Sooooo I thought I'd share. Awesome stuff. Have fun in Italy and Thrill on! ^_^ Now I will go see what your comic is about since I'm here anyways!

Ta.

--Joanna Potratz

What's our comic about? It's about three panels long, Joanna. Ha ha ha! That's the kind of humor you can only get from professional comedians such as ourselves. We'll let you have that gem for free.

As for the Thrill The World stunt, we're not going to completely rule it out, but it's unlikely we'll participate. We don't want to get typecast as "those guys who dance to 'Thriller' all the time." Besides, the reality is that even though the Thrill The World will involve more people overall, it wouldn't be bigger for us personally than our current Thriller video. We don't want to go backwards!
