I just wanted to know, is the January
8th 2001 story, titled 'Who wants to be a trillionaire', based
on a true story. E.g. making 1 trillion pounds from 1 million pounds
via tech stocks. Is Skip a real person? is the story true or even
possible. Let me know. Thank You.

Possible? Stephen, we think it's inevitable that someday
there will be a trillionaire.
But true? Well, Skip is a cartoon character, you know. That said, Rockwood's
little secret is that yes, it's true. Skip is a trillionaire and a real person.
And no, he won't give you a loan.

Okay...I need to know. The eye
chart reads "E Pluribus unum. This is too small to.." and
then it fades away. I MUST KNOW THE MAGIC WORDS!!!

The last word in that line is "read," Panda.
As for the line below that, if the line above was too small to read,
what makes you think anyone could read the bottom one? Thanks for
looking at the details!

Dude,
I think you might have been officially
outdone in the Thriller department, to
wit:
I just really hope they don't do "Beat
It."

It's hard to beat 1,000 people who are incarcerated, Doctor. In our defense,
we have to say that they probably had a little more time on their hands to
practice.

Do it with math,
Grace! Or perhaps you really meant
you wanted to thrill
the world. Or maybe you're a Hillary
Duff fan. Or maybe you think you're overreaching and you don't really
need the whole world to participate, you just want
to rock. All of these are noble goals. Keep your feet on the ground and keep
reaching for the stars, Grace!

Hi Brian,
I can't believe you worked a whole week
for Friday's
strip. But then, it is those strips that keep me coming back. And
the name of the strip, of course.

Who doesn't love a good booger joke, Jim? We suppose some people don't.
You know people who think that such humor is uncouth. If you asked these
people about why they didn't like such humor,
they'd probably respond, "It's naughty."
Ha! It didn't take us a week to get
that one.

It's occured to us recently that many of you are spending far too much
time on YouTube. Oh! Speaking of which, have you seen the exercising
poodle video? How about the Dramatic
Chipmunk? No? How about Michel
Gondry solving a Rubik's Cube in a most unusual way? Oh, you don't
want to miss those!
