Happy
Halloween!
--Scared Michael

Thanks, Scared! We have to admit, though, that we were expecting one of
those scary-face-at-the-end videos. You know, like this
one (CAUTION: loud audio and a big scary face
in the last three seconds! You've been warned!).

Where did you get the long version of
the thriller song for your dance?

Well, Mike, we just slipped Quincy a
couple of fins and
he slipped us the master tapes. No, not really. Brian just happens to work
in video production and he knew how to remix the song on his "Thriller" CD
to match the version that was on the video. We suspect that Quincy would
want quite a bit of money for the masters.

Hey Brian,
My name is Brandon, and I'm from Decatur,
Illinois, and I love your website! But the real reason I am writing
you is, I'm getting married next August, and my fiance' wanted me to
do a Michael Jackson dance, becuse she knows I like his music. So I'm
browsing on youtube,
to see what I was getting myself into, and i came across your video,
outstanding by the way.
I had some questions though, I cant find
the CD with the dance part after Vincent Price talks, and I dont know
how to learn his moves other than watching it on the computer, do they
have a video of thriller? Just a couple questions to someone who has
been in the situation already before. If you have any suggestions,
I would really appreciate it!
Thank You,
--Brandon

Well, Brandon, we just slipped Quincy a couple of... oh, wait a minute.
Just see Mike's answer from above.
But, yes, Michael Jackson does have a DVD
of his videos (actually, there are several containing "Thriller," but
we're not going to link to all of them). You could always just take
the audio straight out of the video and record it. That way you'd
even get the creepy zombie sound effects!

Since you gave Dana a new look, will
you be rounding out Will as well?
--Chilly in Wisconsin
|
|
|
 |
|
We'll see, Chilly. We're doing some experimenting with everyone. Not that
we want to end up looking like Ren
and Stimpy, but we've been reading John
K's blog a lot recently and we think he makes some good points.
We've decided that we could always have better art, so we're doing
a little trial-and-error to see if our characters can be improved.
So if you see something or someone
that looks different and you like it, let us know. Or, if you see
something different and you DON'T like it, let us know that, too.
Your opinion counts a lot more than you think. Write in!

So, since nobody else seems to have noticed,
I'll chime in. Why did Dana
change her hair? I'm not sure whether it's the newness or a real
issue, but I think I liked the old 'do' better. ;)
--Kegan Baird

|
|
 |
|
What, can't a girl change her hair once a decade? Heh.
Actually, this is exactly the
kind of feedback we're looking for. Kegan's down for a "no" vote
on Dana's new hair. Any other opinions? Let us know!

Brian:
Shouldn't that be a neon
orange pumpkin? Plastic of course!
--Jane Rohan
|
|
|
 |
|
The plastic
pumpkins are preferable for hauling candy, Jane, but we are, of course,
referring to other artificial
holiday items.
