April 2, 2008,
Hey I saw your video
on youtube and I was wondering, my friends and I are going to
get a group of kids to teach them the thriller dance so we can dance
at our 8th grade graduation, could you maybe make an instructional
video for us?

We should, Liz, as it's been requested
before, but the life of a wedding
Thriller dancer is a busy one, and we just haven't had time to do it
as of yet. Our best advice for now is to go get a copy of Michael's video
yourself and go learn the moves!

April 7, 2008,
The other night, some friends of mine
started showing off their favorite youtube videos. I showed them the Wedding
Thriller dance, but they'd all seen it already. I was so disappointed...
my chance at impressing my friends was gone because your video was
too popular. DAMN YOU! *angry fist-shaking motion*

Well, Tom, at over 6 million hits, nearly one in every 1,000 people worldwide
has seen us strut our stuff. Of course, not all of those people have
internet connections, and a lot of people are actually WORKING at
work instead of surfing the web, so that number is probably smaller.
Still, if you had told us when we posted the video that eventually
it would be seen by more people than live in the state
of Tennessee, we wouldn't have believed you. However, now that
the precedent has been set, we must move forward. On
to Arizona!

April 7, 2008,
I saw your video on youtube with the thriller
dance. I am so jealous because my best friend and I always wanted to
do that at our weddings and we are now married and never were able
to figure out the entire dance. I have to ask...how did you learn it
all. We have watched the video and 13
going on 30 and there are so many parts left out.

We were able to learn it because Brian is a perfectionist, Angie. The dance
in "13 Going On 30" is incomplete, but it was the inspiration
for our wedding party to do the dance in the first place. We learned
the dance because Brian bought
the video, then slowed it down using editing software to learn
the steps. After that, practice, practice, practice. Although it
ended up being pretty magical, there was no magic involved other
than repetition.
