May 29, 2008,
I have a question for Brian, or anyone
who can answer...my choir holds a retreat in Aug. and a group of us
perform a silly dance each year (bollywood, water ballet, lord of the
dance, etc). This year I want to do Thriller, but I needed to find
a site that would teach us, and I stumbled on your "wedding
thriller" video (lu-hu-huved it!). My question is actually
about the music. You used exactly what I want which is just the zombie
dance section of the video (very different from the original song release).
How did you edit the video into a sound file? I would love to know.
I'm struggling with this.
Thanks so much!

Dawn, Brian was able to edit that video down to a CD because he has access
to a lot of expensive video equipment that most people don't have.
That said, the basics could be done be pretty much anyone.
First, buy
the DVD. Then connect the DVD player "audio out" jacks
to the "audio in" jacks of a computer with recording capabilities.
That will give you only the sound file without messing with the encrypted
video. Barring that, you could always just record it on a cassette
recorder while the video plays on your TV. That would be how
Michael Jackson fans did it in the '80s, so maybe it would feel more
authentic.
Good luck!

May 31, 2008,
I love the Store link,
only one thing there and it's sold out! I personally find that really
funny for some reason, and I agree with another viewer the Who's
who page may need to mention some of these side characters that
pop up now and again.

We're looking into changing all of that, Rookee, but Brian is currently
overloaded with work hanging out at the WCWS,
so he hasn't gotten to that yet. But watch over the summer for changes.

May 31, 2008,
how hard is it to learn the thriller dance
--shaun
|
|
|
 |
|
Psh! Easy! How hard could it be if wedding
parties, prisoners, Indians, Jennifer
Garner, choir
groups, lizards, local
reporters, Legos, marching
bands, and a three-year-old can
do it?

Then you've come to the right place, James.

June 2, 2008,
Is it my imagination or is this the LONGEST
election in history? I think this presidency has probably drug out
way too long as well. But, c'mon....
--Bad Panda

|
|
 |
|
That's not the worst of it, Panda. This election isn't even close to being
over and already a Google
search for "president 2012" brings back 786,000 hits.
Of course, that election really won't matter,
since the world
will be ending just a month later. Hmmm... could endless elections
bring about the end of the world?
The horror... the horror...
