June 17, 2008,
Anyone that still says that golf is boring
after this
past weekend... I have no words. If you knew me, you would know
that this is really saying, or almost saying, something! Fantastic!!

We don't know you, Whew, but we do know that this year's U.S. Open was
spectacular. And once we found out that Tiger
was playing with a torn ACL, we were even more impressed. Hopefully his
reconstruction surgery will go well and we'll see him in next
year's Masters!

June 17, 2008,
Checking out the roster for the Minnesota
Vikings, I was checking out the stats and background info on our Adrian
Peterson. Little did I know that he's a OU Sooner.
We are paying too much for gas. Why is
it at $3.89/gallon? Can someone please explain that to me. The weather
is finally beautiful around here in ND. It's been sunny and cool, a
perfect summer and great for fishing.

Obviously, we knew all about "AD," K.
In fact, way back in June of 2007 we told someone from Minnesota that he
was the best running back we'd ever seen and he was going to be a superstar.
It only took eight
games for him to prove us right. Last year? Rookie
of the year. This year? Who knows? MVP? Super
Bowl champion? Oh, to dream...
And gas is that expensive because... well,
we don't know why. If you read the Mailbag regularly, you already know we
think the price is on a bubble, we just don't know when it will
bust. But hopefully it will be soon, because we're getting tired of
paying $50+ for a tankful. Time to dig the bike out of the garage!
