No one is surprised up here to see Favre wearing purple. In fact, the Packers can't wait to play them since they meet twice this season. I wonder what Favre's "on his feet to on his back" ratio will be?

Smack talk already, eh? Well, just wait until Favre actually completes more than one pass in a game! Let's see what you think then!

August 19, 2009,

hey i read the post about the thriller song...did you edit it or anything cause i can't find the version where they do Vincent price's rap first and then the music then the laugh cuz i wanna find that version to dance to..thanks

--Connie

There was some slight editing, Connie, but not much. If you watch the actual Thriller video, Vincent Price's "foulest stench is in the air" rap runs from 7:33 to 8:05. The music picks back up at 8:22 and then runs to 10:34. Then we skipped ahead to the laugh at 11:57. So yes, we did take the gaps out, but all the pieces of the music are in the same order as the video. We couldn't have done it any other way.

heh.. you should have just re-run July 29's strip changing the last word to "Nope."

--Brian #3

That would have saved time, wouldn't it? Of course, if all we did was use the same graphics then change the text we'd be Dinosaur Comics. We don't want to go extinct.

So, you Sooners ready to welcome Mercury?

FYI - I don't work there - and after that vote, I'm glad I don't...

--Unemployed in Wisconsin

Sooners? The Oklahoma Mercury plant is in Cowboy country, UIW. But still, we'll take it. After all, part of the reason that
Oklahoma's unemployment rate is 6.5 and Wisconsin's is 9.0 is because we don't vote ourselves out of work down here. Oklahoma! Home of employment, affordable housing, and mild winters! Sounds pretty nice, doesn't it?
