             September 15, 2009,
Lately when I open the strip, it opens
          to July 27. Must
be something I've done to get it stuck there. Anyway, I went to the
archives to get to this weeks strip, and became totally confused. I
finally found it, but only through a lot of perseverance.

Well, it's nothing on our end, Jim,
so all we can conclude is that your browser must love Brett Favre.
We suppose that's understandable, given that he just became the NFL's all-time
consecutive start leader last weekend. But really, if you're
going to watch anyone on the Vikings, it should be Adrian Peterson.
            Did you see that
            run? Wow!

        We didn't forget Talk
Like A Pirate Day, Greg, but since it was on a Saturday this
year it didn't work into our comic schedule as it has before. We
can only hope that this didn't affect yer keelhaulin' activities.
              Arrrr....

         In response to Monday's
strip. He should get a "force
            trainer" from toys r us.

The Force Trainer is indeed an impressive
bit of technology, but we can't help but think its manufacturers are
missing a golden opportunity. Sure it's kind of neat to make a ping-pong
ball float up and down, but it's not really practical. Imagine if Uncle
Milton applied that same technology to the up and down buttons
on your TV remote! If they could make a mind-control channel changer,
they wouldn't be able to find a vault big enough to hold all of their
          cash.
