June 24, 2002: Al: I've got my U.S. soccer jersey... I'm ready for the quarterfinals!! Dana: The U.S. is out, Al. Al: Out? Dana: Yep. Germany beat them one to nil. Al: Yeah? Well... we still kicked their butts in World War II! Dana: Oooo. We showed their grandparents, didn't we?
June 26, 2002: Al: So I'm finally willing to watch soccer and it's over?! Dana: It's not over, there's still the final, and that should be a great match! Al: But the U.S. isn't in it. Dana: Well, no, but-- Al: So I should care why?
June 28, 2002: Al: So who's in the World Cup final? Dana: It's Germany versus Brazil, Sunday at 6 a.m. Al: You expect me to believe that? Dana: Which one? Germany or Brazil? Al: No. That there's a 6 "a.m." Dana: You've had such a hard life.
