Exploring the world of comic strips through vague Japanese poetry.

- Haikus are a form of poetry that consists of three lines with five, seven, then five syllables on each respective line. For example...
Rockwood is in space (5 syllables)
On a circular station (7 syllables)
Looking down on Earth (5 syllables)
Obviously, that's pretty boring, but technically correct. Try to do more than just count syllables. Be creative!
- The haiku you submit doesn't necessarily have to have Rockwood mentioned in it, but it would be nice if it related to something in the site somehow, whether it be space-related or just pertaining to a topic brought up elsewhere.
On with the haikus!
Haiku number one extols the glory that is Fox television...
Joe Millionaire on
Fox...shows how superficial
Some women can be!
Kidding about that.
It is a pretty bad show.
And how about this:
The Man versus Beast?
What sort of dumb show is that?
When there's no ideas...
KHAN can move around.
Wish to kill all human life.
Mobile death machine!

We'll chase haiku number two round the moons of Nibia and round the Antares malestrom and round perdition's flames before we give it up...
Space station madness
Will's foot gets crunched by robot
Maybe Will yells, "Kaaahhhnnn!"

Haiku number three shows the power of graft in becoming Haiku of the Week. And take note, Leif, you could easily get Haiku of the Week next week, too, if you catch our drift ...
Alright, so I finally ordered a calendar. Now let's see if the bribe works. Can I make it two consecutive Haikus of the week?
Rockwood Calendar.
Funny comics all year long.
My life is complete.
