Exploring the world of comic strips through vague Japanese poetry.

- Haikus are a form of poetry that consists of three lines with five, seven, then five syllables on each respective line. For example...
Rockwood is in space (5 syllables)
On a circular station (7 syllables)
Looking down on Earth (5 syllables)
Obviously, that's pretty boring, but technically correct. Try to do more than just count syllables. Be creative!
- The haiku you submit doesn't necessarily have to have Rockwood mentioned in it, but it would be nice if it related to something in the site somehow, whether it be space-related or just pertaining to a topic brought up elsewhere.
On with the haikus!
Haiku number one makes us point out that although Ron was wrong, in all fairness, he did right his letter almost a week before CBS fessed up...
Is Ron's first name Mo?
Good grief, watch the news buddy.
How's that Kool-Aid taste?
--Sarcasmo
Haiku number two gets Haiku of the Week because it deals with Star Wars and, well, we just couldn't resist...
Darth Vader invades
All over the universe
But why is he here?
Rockwood has fallen
He couldn't resist the urge
To buy DVDs
Can Brian prevail,
(ooh the dark side is so strong)
Where Rockwood has failed?
George Lucas has won,
We all are slaves to Star Wars
His money machine
No, I can't take it!!!
Must buy Star Wars DVDs
Can't resist dark side!!!!
As Yoda would say,
"Beware of the dark side, Luke"
Have you fallen too?
