Express yourself!

Have you always wanted to let Team Rockwood know just what you were thinking? Do you wonder why the panels of the strip are laid out horizontally instead of vertically? Or do you have sensitive documents that will bring down the government? In any case, we want to know! Just fill out your name and e-mail address, then let 'er rip! No question or comment is too bizarre for Team Rockwood to take a stab at, and if we can get enough mail coming in, this page will be updated weekly! (Unlike the old mailbag page, which got updated about four times in two years.)

So consider this an experiment in web interactivity. Or, consider it a way to artificially inflate our hit count. Either way, just write in!

Hate to say it but it looks like MSN is on the way for the Mac... God help my PowerBook.

While MSN doesn't particularly excite us one way or another, at least Microsoft is keeping up the appearances of being nice after weaseling out of severe penalties at the hands of the Justice Department. We still don't get why MSN 8 is supposed to make you smarter, but we suppose there are things out there that are a lot stupider.

Hey Brian, I see you're covering the elections today. I'm waiting to see if you've been watching Fritz and Norm up here in Minnesota. It's a high profile race, with Cheney visiting last Friday, Barbara on Saturday, and George on Sunday. It is definitely one that George and friends want. After all, he hand picked Norm for the job, and told other candidates to step back. And as for our gov.... Did you know that, the Senate is now 49 D, 49 R and 2 I? Thank you Jesse, for keeping Minnesota in the spotlight. Gotta go,

Ahh...Jesse "The Mind" Ventura... how we're going to miss him! Oh sure, he may or may not be an effective governor, but what do we care? We're not in Minnesota! We like Jesse because, unlike some other state's governor candidates, at least he wasn't boring. And sometimes it takes a system-wide shakeup like that to get a favorable result the next time.

So Minnesota has stepped back down to "boring" governor status, but don't despair! There's always a chance to get someone exciting back in office in 2006. Perhaps someone with a literary background.

hello. i just wanted to say that i enjoy the way jeb bush's head fits neatly next to the coastline of florida on the tv in wednesday's comic. subtle, yet brilliant. coincidence?! i think not. looks like they'll need to re-open the X-files for this one.

If you're implying that we think Jeb Bush's environmental policies had something to do with the breakup of Pangaea into a shape resembling his head, we don't know what you're talking about.

On the other hand, if you're saying that Jeb Bush has the power to re-open The X-Files, we're all for it!

Hey, Brian, have you seen the movie Airplane! ? I love that movie. What are some of your favorite movies?

PS: Both Attack of the Clones and The Lord of the Rings come out on DVD tomorrow! Yes!

--Shadow

Have we seen Airplane!? Is the Pope Catholic? Does a bear do his thing in the woods? Do you know what it's like to fall in the mud and get kicked in the head with an iron boot? Of course you don't. No one does. That never happens. Sorry Shadow, that's a dumb question. Skip that.

As for Team Rockwood's movie tastes, they should be pretty obvious just by reading through some of the Archive material. Recently, we've been profoundly disappointed by Punch Drunk Love, which was a mess masquerading as a movie, but impressed by The Ring, which has spooked us so much that we no longer answer the phone. Really. Don't call. We won't answer.

It's still out there. Bootylicious, is it here to stay?

Of course it is! We told you it would be, right? We're just ahead of the curve. Now, even The Man has acknowledged our foresight. Stick close to us and maybe you'll learn more about the future from the prescient minds of Team Rockwood!
