Express yourself!

Have you always wanted to let Team Rockwood know just what you were thinking? Do you wonder why the panels of the strip are laid out horizontally instead of vertically? Or do you have sensitive documents that will bring down the government? In any case, we want to know! Just fill out your name and e-mail address, then let 'er rip! No question or comment is too bizarre for Team Rockwood to take a stab at, and if we can get enough mail coming in, this page will be updated weekly! (Unlike the old mailbag page, which got updated about four times in two years.)

So consider this an experiment in web interactivity. Or, consider it a way to artificially inflate our hit count. Either way, just write in!

HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY BRIAN!

Just wanted to say that the comic is great. Keep up the great work. Hope to see you in the funny papers soon!!

--Chris Moore

That'd be nice, Chris. After all, being syndicated would allow Team Rockwood to devote all of its collective time to making new strips, since we could all quit our other paying jobs. In the meantime, if you or anyone else would like to see that happen, why not head on over to the Rockwood Store and pick up a 2004 Rockwood Calendar? It's full of funny, funny cartoons that-- since we're not syndicated-- you can't get anywhere else! And it's a steal at just $15!

Did you see The Norm's strip for December 8? It seems like Michael Jantze have been reading the Rockwood archives (as well as the Rockwood Mailbag archives) . It's nice of Team Rockwood to give Mr. Jantze a bit of inspiration.

--Tris

At least Mr. Jantze was only taking inspiration from us, Tris. The December 15th strip of The Boondocks just flat out ripped us off.

Hi, Brian! Glad to see you're still at it after all these years-- I always loved your comics at OU! Have my whole office turned on to Rockwood now...keep up the good work!

Boomer Sooner!

Thanks, Jamie! Now all we need are the other 200 million offices in America and we'll have something!

This time I'm dancing.

Didn't mean to be so preachy last time; it just came out that way.

--Jerry

Oh, we didn't think it was preachy, Jerry. To be honest, we were more confused about it than anything else. But that's okay! We're still glad you wrote in!

And since this is the last letter of 2003, let's just add a few more "thank yous." A great big thank you to everyone who's written in with a letter or a haiku over the past year. Although we only run about 80 percent of the haikus we receive (some of you really need to learn to count), we probably run 95 percent of the letters. The body of this site, the strip, could run just fine without any reader input at all. But without all of you, the Mailbag and Haiku Thursday would just be dead weight. And at over a third-of-a-million hits in 2003, that's a lot of potential dead weight.

Even though we'll once again lose money on the site overall this year (have we mentioned that 2004 Rockwood Calendars are for sale?), the fact that all of you keep coming back every day is what keeps this site going. Thanks again to all of you, and have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Oh, we almost forgot. Boomer Sooner! We're goin' to N'Awlins!
