Express yourself!
Have you always wanted to let Team Rockwood know just what you were thinking? Do you wonder why the panels of the strip are laid out horizontally instead of vertically? Or do you have sensitive documents that will bring down the government? In any case, we want to know! Just fill out your name and e-mail address, then let 'er rip! No question or comment is too bizarre for Team Rockwood to take a stab at, and if we can get enough mail coming in, this page will be updated weekly! (Unlike the old mailbag page, which got updated about four times in two years.)
So consider this an experiment in web interactivity. Or, consider it a way to artificially inflate our hit count. Either way, just write in!

Um...
I think you meant (scroll to bottom) Iron Maiden? Excellent! (SOUND!!!)
Good thing I have the fastest Alt-F4 in the west!

Correct-a-mundo, Brian, that link should have had the "sound" tag attached to it. And because you caught it, now it does. Thanks!

So, is that a typo is Monday's comic? "Now I'P way up here looking for CBS's credibility."
I'm guessing that's supposed to be, "Now I'm way up here looking for CBS's credibility."
Hey, do you have any positions on the RockwoodComic team for a content reviewer? Seeing all the comics early sounds like more than fair compensation! ;)

Okay, Brian, we think you're spending waaaay too much time finding our mistakes. Of course, if we'd just stop making them, that would solve the problem, wouldn't it? The comic was indeed flawed, and is now fixed.
As for a content reviewer, the typical Rockwood comic gets posted mere minutes after it's finished being drawn. We hardly see how that five-minute lead time would be worth that much.

Pah! Why be descriptive in your link when you can just rewrite the target page to your liking on the fly, adding a "name" anchor tag (just click the link, it'll take you where I want you)?
Since you're taking reader suggestions, how about adding "name" tags to letters and haikus, so you can link directly to a particular letter and/or haiku? Heck, do it on the comic archive pages too, so you can link directly to a comic, and not have to say "scroll down, it's the third one"?
That way I won't have to hijack your content in future to make it behave the way I want... ;-)

Well, Karl, while we appreciate the effort you've spent thinking about how to make Rockwood a better place, your contribution does have a slight flaw. Mainly, it's going to take a lot more work on our part. It's pretty easy just to add the word "sound," but we're going to have to start digging around in the code again to start adding "name" tags.
Besides, if we force readers to scroll down our entire page, they'll just end up reading more Rockwood content, and since that's kind of the whole idea behind the site, your suggestion might be counterproductive. However, we'll still keep it in mind if we redesign the site in the future.

I did your chumming for you this time, Brian -- sent a note off to Instapundit to get him to link to you again for Monday's Rathergatey goodness.
Just remember, Brian, I permalinked you nearly a year ago. The fact that he's gotten you more hits in five minutes than I've given you in the entire time I've linked to you shouldn't matter in the least...
By the way, you got the buggy, angry eyes just right. :-)

Thanks, Wally! We always appreciate the promotion. And this isn't the first time we've featured buggy-eyed Dan Rather. In fact, we've used him many times (scroll down to second strip). He's more fun than a... uh... well, we're not as full of folksy sayings as Dan is, so we'll just say he's a lot of fun. But maybe not as much fun as getting another link from Instapundit would be. That rocked last week!
