May 9, 2006,

Do you draw on paper, or completely in the computer? The reason I ask is that some strips offer prints of their work, or in some cases, even put the originals up for sale. Your George Lucas bit last week was hilarious, and I was wondering if any prints are available? If it only exists in the computer, could I get a hi-rez scan of it? I want to print it , frame it, and put it up in my office. I own too many versions of Star Wars already, and now I'm gonna buy it again. AGHHHH!!!!

All the drawing is done on paper, Walt, with some embellishments done on the computer. Team Rockwood is old school! And as of right now, we've never really offered prints of individual cartoons, mainly because we couldn't figure out how to do it and still make a profit.

However, after doing a little research, we found that Cafepress has a framed custom print format that almost perfectly fits the size of a Rockwood cartoon. So how 'bout it everyone? Would you pay $35 or so for a full-sized Rockwood cartoon print? Let us know and maybe we'll start making it happen!

I see someone else caught the TBS showing of "Mr. Mom" over the weekend!

Ahh... some subtle humor for those of you who read the ALT tags behind our comics. For those of you who have yet to discover them, on some browsers you can just let your mouse hover briefly over any individual cartoon and an extra hidden comment will pop up. Originally, we started putting those in there so people with really slow modem connections would have something to read while the page loaded. But in these high falutin' days of cable modems and T1 lines, that intention has slipped by the wayside. Now we just do it because we think it's funny.

May 15, 2006,

Actually I think waiting until 5am to freak out (scroll to third letter) shows a great deal of restraint. I start checking my webcomics at 12:01am, popping back when I have a break to see if new stuff's posted. So really, I waited FIVE whole hours before I started to panic.

You know, I'm always getting into arguments over Trekker/Trekkie and in the end the label itself isn't as imporant as what it means. I'm a Trekkie, at least for TNG. Probably one of the few fans who liked Wesley. (Can't you already hear the groans of folks reading that last line and responding with "Are you kidding me?")

In a sign of the ever-changing conditions of being a geek, isn't it ironic that Wesley is now considered the cool one?
