May 1, 2007,

So, in my opinion, Monday, April 23 strip had to be one of the worst(best) ever. Are we ever going to see another new mailbag? or did you decide being Italian was way too much fun?

--Jim Rockwood

Being Italian was fun for a while, Jim, but we're glad to be back in the United States. When you've been raised in the land of the Big Gulp, there's a small window of time that you're willing to pay $5 for a Coke for before you start to long for home. For us that window of time was about a week.

May 1, 2007,

I thought the wedding thriller dance was great! I was looking forward to reading the article about it, but it looks like it's no longer on the site. Do you know of somewhere else I could read it? Thanks! Also, congrats on the marriage! (Were you the groom?)

--Maggie Piersel

Well, there's no actual article written about it, Maggie. At least, not yet. We know something you don't know! We'll let all of you in on the secret when it happens, but we will let you know this: "it" will probably happen in the first part of June. Stay tuned!

May 7, 2007,

Hi, I know that imitation is the best form of flattery, but could wedding parties do something other than the Thriller Dance? Maybe something from Black Sabbath during which the best man bites the head off of the Swan Ice Sculpture?

--Mental Mike

How much would that rock, Mike? We'll tell you how much! So much that it would be too much rock for one hand!

Personally, though, we'd much rather see some adventurous wedding try for the Safety Dance. Now that would be cool!

Hi Brian,

I was wondering if I could use your space for a moment. Thanks.

Hi Vic. I'm glad to see your letter in the Rockmail (second letter). Have you bought your calendar yet?

Love, --Dad

Thanks again Brian.

--Jim Rockwood

Jim, anytime you want to borrow space to plug our merchandise is fine with us. In fact, we suggest it to everyone. Everyone, buy a calendar so you can shame your friends into buying one, too. It's fun for the whole family!
