Put me down as a no
for Dana's hair as well. It makes her eyes bug out!

So noted, Chilly. Of course, the bugging-out eyes are a separate issue
than the hair. Unless maybe we have her hair pulled back too tight.
We'll work on that.

Observers of the Greenwich Village parade
on Halloween Night saw a bunch of zombies do Michael Jackson's Thriller
dance. Many people said that the dance was worth the whole parade.
I told anybody that would listen that this was inspired by the wedding
Thriller dance that Team Rockwood performed. Unfortunately,
they cut me out of it. Click here,
then click the button: CW11 NEWS VIDEO and then click on "Annual
Halloween Party in Greenich Village.

Thanks for the support, Chris, although we don't know if even WE would
claim that every performance of Thriller dancing was inspired by
us. We'd guess this one isn't. However, we do have it on good information
that this
one was. We're inspiring prisoners worldwide!

Saw something this weekend you might find
interesting. A couple college buddies and I went to the OU-A&M
game on Saturday. During the halftime show, the
Pride played THRILLER! And ... during one part of the song they
made a big square formation, set their instruments down, and did the
thriller dance! I wonder if they were inspired by the other thriller-related
almost-celebs in Norman, or if it was just coincidence?
Anyhow the crowd ate it up. At least until
one person in the crowd near me pointed out that those kids in the
band weren't even *born* when that video first came out.
Dude - we're old. Bummer.

That one is mostly coincidence, Bobby. Although...
A little known fact about Brian: he spent
five glorious years in college (don't laugh, he changed his major)
marching in the Pride
of Oklahoma. Also, the videographer of the original Wedding Thriller
Dance is the same
person who is the voice of the Pride. And we have inside sources
that tell us that our video was watched over the summer by some influential
people in the band.
Now, we're not going to say that they did
the dance solely because of us, but there is a possibility we had some
influence. You never know about us old band geeks!

Great
Costume. Looks like someone I know
--Jim Rockwood

Incidentally, Jim, that big Rockwood head was a costume
prepared years ago for a special Halloween performance of the Pride of
Oklahoma (they used to dress up if Halloween fell on a game-day Saturday).
Funny how it all comes back around, eh?
