Hi Brian,
I'm Jim's daughter and I just have to
say, we laugh about the
powdered milk NOW.... I'm one of the children who managed to live
through the FIVE YEARS of guilt-trip about grandchildren - all I can
say is, Good Luck to you. It is possible to come through unscathed
(mostly...)

Ahhh... so now the truth comes out! It turns out that Jim's
fond memories might have only been fond to Jim! But don't worry about
us coming out unscathed. We took YEARS of "when are you getting married" pressure,
so the "when are you having kids" pressure isn't anything we
aren't already used to.

I just need to tell you how awesome your
surprised dance of thriller
was at your wedding. My fiance and I are getting married in August
and we really want to do this with our wedding party!! Any tips or
suggestions on how to learn it? By the way the groom was KICK ASS at
the dance, he must have practiced a lot.

Thanks, Ashleigh! Brian did indeed practice a lot, as did the rest of the
wedding party. And that would be our advice: practice, practice,
practice. Brian, fortunately, has some experience in video production,
so he was able to slow his copy of the video down enough to be able
to study it and learn the moves. Just don't be shy when you perform
it. If you only put half-effort into it, everyone will know. Leave
it on the dancefloor and send us the YouTube link when you do it.
Good luck!

So, the calendar is
out - yeah!!!!! I know what I'm getting for Christmas. So, how much
of the price will be used to help achieve the
thing your mom wants? Since you've been selling calendars since
the early 90's (I found one recently), you might actually have enough.
And face it, you're not getting any younger. Tick, tick, tick...
Go SOONERS!!

But we already spent the previous calendar money, Jerry, so if the rest
of want what Mom wants, you'd better head on over to the Rockwood
Store and buy lots of calendars now! It's the only way!

Brian:
Do you have any more pictures? Love the Sooner
bird house. Oklahoma seems exciting to live in not only do you
have the tornado season but also the arctic season as well. Dont
rush having kids. When the time is right you'll know.

Those were the good pictures, K. The day after those were taken, all of
the ice melted, and we didn't take any pictures of destroyed trees.
That would have just been sad.

Where was the "Thriller" wedding and
who choreographed it? Fantastic!

It happened in Norman, Oklahoma, R, home of the future
Fiesta Bowl champion Oklahoma Sooners. And choreography was by Brian.
We were too cheap to pay someone else to do it for us. Glad you liked it!

So your video
has 4 million hits...what about your comic? You don't have some
counter that might tell you if the traffic to this site has increased
since the video or not? I would like to see the numbers on that...but
I doubt you have that kind of info.

That's actually 4.5 million hits, rookee, and while we don't have
a counter that YOU can see, we do know how many hits we're getting. No,
we ain't tellin' how much, but we will tell you that our hit count is slightly
up this year. More importantly, that extra demand means that the 2008
Rockwood Calendars are flying off the shelves! Seriously... half of
our stock is gone already, and they've only been on sale for six days.
There's still time to get them for Christmas if you hurry, and if you don't
hurry, you might have to wait for the second printing. Order today!

of course, maybe this means that Brian has a lot of time on his hands
- Sandy - maybe you should be giving him a honey do list.
Thanks!!

Time?! We're pushing these calendars out the door as fast as we can, Jerry!
We don't have time for anything else! Thanks for ordering one!
Finally, since next Tuesday is Christmas,
this will be the last Mailbag of 2007 and we'd just like to thank all
of you for contributing to this site and making it fun for us and hopefully
you. As long as all of you keep coming back, we'll keep writing and drawing
for your entertainment. Have a Merry Christmas and see you in 2008!
