Hi Brian,
The obvious
question I was thinking of was, "You do know how to make
babies, don't you?" But "How much is the bribe?" is
a logical question too. I am concerned that if you wait till the
money starts rolling in, it could be awhile, if ever.
Money is important, don't get me wrong,
but don't you remember the day old bread store and powdered milk when
you were young? My children sure do, and when we get them all together,
it is often the topic of discussion, and we all have a great laugh
about it.

We do remember the good ol' cheap days, Jim. We also remember our parents
telling us about how
hard it was to get to school. Parents are not always to be trusted.
That said, we look forward to the days when we can warp a child's
mind just like our parents did to us. But we'll pick the time that
we're ready!

Do they normally have door-buster sales
and open early that Saturday (before Christmas)?
--K.Peterson
|
|
|
 |
|
Sales?! Why, it's un-American to wait for a sale, K! We want to pay full-price,
preferably for a small quantity, and better yet, for something that
is only left because all the other gifts are gone. See, Mom? This
is what years of powdered milk and day-old bread have done to our
fragile little minds!

Once again, the opportunity to be Haiku of the Week has

I saw a new wedding
dance on the news last night. Do they know they are just a spin-off
of the original?
--Jim Rockwood

|

Are you referring to the Baby
Got Back wedding, Jim? We suspect they saw our video, but we don't
know for sure. You could always drop
them a line and ask, but who knows if they'd respond.

Your pictures speak a thousand words.
Although I heard the ice
breaking news, it did not touch me until I saw your pictures.

For those of you who didn't see them on the front page, those pictures
are here...

It's pretty crazy here right now. The entire
area looks like a tornado has hit, but only hit the trees. There's
going to be a lot of extra firewood around in the next few months once
everything thaws.
