October 1, 2008,

Well we have an election up here in the Great White North and it is a brutal choice. Honestly it's like trying to choose who the smart kid is in summer school.

Our choices run from the current PM who's as warm and fuzzy as Ebola, a professor who is unintelligible in both official languages, a man who wants to tear the country apart, a narcissistic socialist with a moustache and a woman who wants to save the world one windmill at a time.

At least I think they all have admitted to smoking pot. Maybe I should just vote for the Marijuana Party (yes it exists). Seriously how bad could they screw things up compared to any other politician?

We're surprised to hear that there's a "Marijuana Party," Simon. We would have thought they'd have trouble getting organized. But if you don't mind voting for a third... uh... fourth, fifth, SIXTH party, we think we might have the candidates for you.

THIS IS GREAT!

Glad you like "this," Roger. We think "this" is great, too.

This, on the other hand, is just weird.

I saw the Youtube thriller video and decided to use it to learn the thriller dance for a party Im attending. I have to thank you because it was very helpful and I can now (Barely) Dance the thriller!

Excellent work, Em! Now post it online and become the next internet superstar! Because, you know, for us that resulted in minutes of fame and upwards of ten dollars in royalties. Don't spend it all in one place!

Okay, another debate is history.

Biden/Palin or is it Palin/Biden? Biden stood on the left side; and Palin stood on the right side. Should we vote old or young? Both have nice smiles. Both wore nice suits. Both were diplomatic. It was a tie. But neither is running for president.

Obama slams McCain. McCain slams Obama.

Tuesday nite is Town Hall.

Will it be about the Wall Street bailout? Wall street was so named when the street had a wall built to keep the havalinas out. Were the pigs really kept out? Obama votes for pork filled bail out. McCain votes for pork filled bail out.

The Democrats have controlled out country and economy over the past two years as they have the majority in the Senate and the House. The Republicans have the president who can veto but be overridden because of a largely Democratic Congress.

Who will be the next president? Someone who has walked the talk or someone who thinks he can walk the talk?

--Older and wiser for it!

We long for past elections, OAWFI, when knowledgable candidates ran clean and positive elections. Maybe he can still win on a write-in vote.

Joe Biden? You did on a comic on Joe Biden? You have to do an episode with Palin's provocative winking now or one with her "Maverick" ways...

There's still a month left, Leif, that's plenty of time for Sarah to make an appearance. However, we don't know if we want to come out with something right now. We'd only be compared to Tina Fey, and we can't match up to that level of competition.
