Countdown... soon all the nasty political ads will be gone and someone will be preparing for the move to the "White House". Millions of dollars have been spent... one spending more than the other to get to the top of the land. Can money buy the presidency?

We don't know, MA, and this time we're not going to guess. Although some websites and polls are calling it already, we have a hunch it's going to be a lot closer than most people think. Can McCain pull it out even though he's spent hundreds of millions of dollars less than Obama? Who knows? All we know is the feeling in our gut.

And what is the record of our gut, you ask? Well, we did have a hunch back in June about gas prices. For those of you too lazy to click the link, we thought $4/gallon gas was overpriced and would be dropping soon. And what did we pay for gas on the way home tonight? $1.95/gallon.

CNN can have their pollsters. We're following our gut. Expect a verrry close race.

We're glad you liked it, Brenda. Unless we get a phone call from Michael himself, we have no way of knowing if he's actually seen it. All we know now is that we're listed on his Favorites page.
