June 25, 2009,

Michael Jackson, Farrah Fawcett, and Ed McMahon. What a weird week. Holy cow, I know stars deaths usually come in threes but no one could predict this.

What are your thoughts on this? And are you going to put something on your wedding YouTube mentioning or something. I'm sure a lot of your fans would like to know you care.

We actually did put something on our YouTube page, Rookee. You can click over and read it yourself, or we'll just reprint it here:

One of the biggest thrills we got from this video becoming so popular was when MJ added us as one of his YouTube "favorites." Yes, it was probably just his management team, but it was cool nonetheless. He'll be missed.

That whole celebrity thing is kinda creepy though. Hopefully it doesn't also apply to minor internet celebrities like ourselves. I guess we'll start to get concerned for our health if Mr. Chocolate Rain and the Will It Blend guy suddenly kick off.

June 27, 2009,

Look at this. Where's the thriller wedding dance????

It is pretty cool that those Filipino inmates are doing a Michael Jackson tribute dance, Panda. But unlike the Filipino prisoners, the Wedding Thriller Dancers all have jobs and other things to do. If we were all locked in prison we'd have the time to practice, but otherwise that seems unlikely.

But who knows? Maybe Brian will renew his vows. You never know!

June 27, 2009,

Hey, great comic; been reading it for a couple of years. In case nobody's told you yet I'm pretty sure I saw a brief clip of your Thriller dance was on the BBC News channel's (here in the UK) report of MJ's death, in a montage of tributes that had been inspired by him while he was still alive.

--Simon Lamont

MJ was a worldwide phenomenon, Simon, and in a smaller yet similar way, the Wedding Thriller Dance has also been seen around the world. We know it's been on the BBC in the past, but we've never actually seen a clip any show it's been on. If anyone has a link, let us know!

June 28, 2009,

Hi, we are doing the thriller dance at our wedding as well and we are having trouble finding the audio version of the video for the dance. Just didnt know where the couple got the song from. We found the song but it is way different than the video version. Can you please help?

--Jerry Moreno

We got it straight off the video, Jerry, and just cut it down a little so it wouldn't have so much dead space in it. Our recommendation is to get a copy of Michael Jackson's videos on DVD and get to work!
