Dig the Logan's
Run reference (Wednesday's strip)...hadn't thought of that movie
in a long time.

We were always suckers for Logan's Run because Farrah
was in it. But really, it was more of a guilty pleasure than a pleasure.
Like most dystopian movies from the '70s, it kind of started to fall apart
if you really thought about it. Of course, with Farrah in it, why spend
time thinking?

OK you lost me on that one. Carousel
is a... "Something Wicked This Way Comes" reference?
--Brian #3

Wrong sci-fi book, #3! Bradbury's
carousel makes you younger (or older) and damned. Logan's
carousel just makes you dead. Neither is really an attractive option.
This is why Team Rockwood prefers roller coasters.

As long as Obama's "Carousel" comes
with unlimited casual sex, free plastic surgery, and all the frozen
fish, plankton and sea greens I can eat you can count me in. This is
change I can believe in.

That's not all, Simon! We understand that in addition to all of those things
you'll also have your choice or red, yellow, or the ever-nutritious
green products from the Soylent
Corporation. Yum!

wedding dance....am sending this link to many....really hope
it remains at top in you tube...is such a spirit lift!!!!

Thanks, Andrea! We need the publicity, otherwise we'll never be able to
keep up with those people who danced
their way into their wedding.

July 27, 2009,
HAH! Monday's
strip was even funnier when I realized that you'd played it down...
Okay, I know it is a joke and doesn't
need to be based in reality. But it's late, and I'm procrastinating
against doing any real work. So, for the record...
In Google news on Monday night Favre is
1, 2 & 3 for "indecision" and
5th for "can't
decide" (8th without
quotes).
As funny as real life...
--Brian #3

|
|
 |

Well, supposedly Favre will make a decision
by July 30, but we're not sure if we believe that. After all, the season
doesn't start for another month or so. Why rush it?
