Express yourself!
Have you always wanted to let Team Rockwood know just what you were thinking? Do you wonder why the panels of the strip are laid out horizontally instead of vertically? Or do you have sensitive documents that will bring down the government? In any case, we want to know! Just fill out your name and e-mail address, then let 'er rip! No question or comment is too bizarre for Team Rockwood to take a stab at, and if we can get enough mail coming in, this page will be updated weekly! (Unlike the old mailbag page, which got updated about four times in two years.)
So consider this an experiment in web interactivity. Or, consider it a way to artificially inflate our hit count. Either way, just write in!

Rockwood!
The blood, sweat, tears, and blood has paid off. I am a practicer of ju-jijstu and I am about half way toward a black belt. I can understand the committment and the time required.
On a side note, is your dojo a more traditional school? I have known people who have gotten a black belt in TKD, but the time required was considerably less than yours, only 2-3 years if you attended on a regular basis.
We should spar some time. How are your ground fighting skills?

Well, Leif, it's that whole "attended on a regular basis" thing that makes the difference. Brian took lots of breaks in his training due to other activities, injuries, etc. that pushed his training time way past three years. But, different schools do things different ways. Some push their students into the next belt whether they're ready or not, whereas some only test when their students have met a set list of goals. Neither is better nor worse, just different. Brian's school tended towards the latter.
As for sparring, it's unlikely. Different martial arts fight in different ways. Taekwondo uses leg length to fight from a distance. Ju-jitsu is a closer-in, grappling-type fighting method. They're two different sports and not really compatible in the ring, sort of like matching up boxing with karate.
That said, Brian's pretty sure he could take you. Heh.

Congrats on the Black Belt. I have a first degree in Tae Kwon Do - looks like that may be what you have too. It's quite an accomplishment, and does wonders for your outlook on life. Way to go!
Oh, I think the strip is great, too...

Thanks on both counts, Jason. Brian is looking forward to the wonders of his outlook on life, but right now he's just enjoying the lack of pain from last-minute training.

hey you guys! LoL.... You probably won't answer me, or you'll say you don't know.... but is there ANY WAY that you can give me ANY of the members of Sum 41's e-mail addresses (or addresses). I would appreciate it more than anything! I have been a fan since 2000. I haven't been to any of their concerts! The other day I was crying my eyes out because the person who ordered my tickets for Poughkeepsie screwed up the order, so I thought I was getting them, but then found out I wasn't. I tried re-ordering some but they're sold out (June 22 @ the Chance in Poughkeepsie). I went a while thinking I was getting them, but then it hit me hard that I wasn't. Well, I want to talk to them SOOOOOOOOOOO BAD!!!!!! Please help me if you can.....

You're right, Tammy, just like we've told others, we're going to tell you that we don't know anything. And the reason we're going to tell you that is... uh... because we don't know anything.
We're not exactly sure why Team Rockwood has acquired an aura of knowing something about Sum 41, but we don't. Why doesn't anyone ever think we know anything about Sheryl Crow? We'd much rather know stuff about her, anyway.
