Just a thought...since you have a Who's Who page, maybe you should add a "Special Guests" page for some of the favorite other characters or caricatures that have passed through Rockwood with links to the archived strips on which they appear. (Was inspired by the thumb pointer.)

Good idea, Tony! We'll have to do some searching through our archives to see who else is worthy of being on that page. Thanks for the suggestion, and watch (hopefully soon) for the results!

"Day Light Savings"

Normally, the 'news' media would have kept this as the lead story.

But in Ohio, we had the "white death" Blizzard of 2008.

So, remembering the time change required conscious thought. Sorry Al.

We sympathize completely, Jerry. Several members of Team Rockwood got caught on the freeway (10 miles in three hours!) in last December's Wichita, Kansas blizzard and we know that while snow looks pretty on TV, it looks a lot less pretty when you're stuck in it. Hopefully, you are doing the "watching on TV" part. Good luck!

Brian and Sandy,

Thank you so much for sponsoring me for the Lindy-Hop for Life! (Thank you as well for printing my haiku donation request!)

With your help, I ended up raising over $2,000 for City of Hope. My team raised over $24,000, and on Sunday morning the organizer, Shesha Marvin, presented a check to City of Hope for $170,000. The totals are still being finalized, and will be published in about two weeks, but I wanted to thank all of you again for sponsoring me, and to let you know that the event has already raised AT LEAST $170,000 for City of Hope.

I promised you pictures, and you can see them here!

Or if you prefer just the pictures, you can view them directly on Flickr:

Thank you all again!

You're welcome, Christina! Glad we could help. Obviously, this letter came not only to us, but to Christina's other sponsors as well, we just thought we'd post it because a) now you can look at the pictures, and b) if you'd like to do so, you can still make a contribution to the 24hr Cancer Dance-A-Thon.
