June 24, 2008,

So how come Al broke the consistency on Monday's strip. I was disappointed all the comments weren't 7 words. In fact, I wish I could have written this letter in 7 words.

--Jim Rockwood

We would have liked to have done all the dialogue in seven words, Jim (and bonus points to you for noticing), but Al's last speech just couldn't be compressed any more unless we were going to talk in LOLCat ("seven werds no can say on internets"). We'd be impressed if you could write a letter in seven words. That sounds sort of haiku-ish to us. Maybe we should make a page about that!

Ok I'm sorry but I think I found competition to your wedding dance. At 2:53 it is suddenly worth watching

--Brian #3

Well, far be it for us to diss Lord Vader and his dance troupe, but we'll stick with what we have as far as Thriller dancing. We actually like this version, but those people ARE professionals after all, and we're just a bunch of amateurs.

A bunch of amateurs with 7.1 million hits and counting. Take THAT, Lord of the Sith!

Hahahahaha... Sem dúvida, o vídeo do seu casamento (Seu, né?!) no qual dançaram "Thriller" foi demais mesmo, muito legal, coloquei-o no meu orkut: *****@bol.com.br só olhar! Ficou show mesmo... Parabéns à todos vocês!!!

Obrigado, Tatiane! Nos estamos felizes que voce gostou de nossa danca, e nos estamos contentes de saber que entertains povos mesmo em Brasil. Agradecimentos para a escrita!

OK, what about Johnny-5?

--Rookee Alding

Johnny had his chance at world domination and blew it, Rookee. He... uh... it... was
22 years ahead of its time, we suppose, and just wasn't as cute as Wall-E is. On the positive side, he did make Steve Guttenberg a star.

Or DID he?

I'm not sure where Will gets his news, but it sounds more like the Phoenix landed on the 5th of May, not the 25th. Any chance on finding some limes up there? It would make for a very interesting commercial for Corona, wouldn't it?

--Bad Panda

The headline reads "Mars Probe Finds Ice, Salt, Tequila," Panda. The Phoenix probe found salt – maybe – just as recently as two weeks ago, so that news isn't THAT old. And surely the discovery of tequila on Mars is new.
